Kaštel Lukšić is associated with the most romantic Croatian legend. It is one of the seven towns of Kaštela, where in the 15th and 16th centuries the aristocracy from Split and Trogir built their defensive residences. In this small town, the palaces of the Vitturi and Rušinac families still stand today. Their walls, faded by the sun, wind, and sea, faithfully guard the secret of a love story that took place in the second half of the 17th century.
